‘delaySCAPE’ is a collection of 3 ‘visual’ poems on the subject of TIME conveyed through dance, video and sound.
I started observing my relationship to time and delay during flamenco classes, where I noticed how different people interpret rhythm in different ways. The sense of time between beats seems to be absolutely relative for each individual….
It made me wonder about how our personal rhythm and sense of time affects our relationship to the world. How long it takes us to learn, understand, forgive, let go, forget, fall in love, get angry? What makes us slower or faster?
